DIGITAL NIGHT VISION RIFLE SCOPE DIGISIGHT N550

Digital riflescope Digisight N550 is a perfect combination of the latest developments in the field of optics and electronics. Along with good optical characteristics the Digisight features a wide range of options which allow it to be tuned to one's personal needs. The Digisight uses a highly sensitive CCD array, with a range of operation illumination, images are transmitted to a VGA display. The Digisight N550 also has Sum Light function which automatically increases CCD array sensitivity under low light conditions.

The screen displays information on the Digisight operation status including running time, low battery indicator, camera operation mode. One of the remarkable features is the possibility of zeroing the Digisight not only in the traditional manner but also using a new “one shot zeroing” method. This makes the zeroing procedure significantly faster and more convenient. The Digisight N550 has several switchable pre-loaded reticles of various shapes and the user can upload optional reticles. The enhanceed contrast function and reticle inversion allows changing color of the aiming reticle from black to white. The choice of the reticle colour is subject to the targets brightness.

The Digisight is equipped with a built-in IR Illuminator which should be used in low light conditions in the nighttime. The Weaver rail on the side of the body allows an auxiliary, more powerful IR Flashlight to be attached. Basic control functions (switching on/off the Digisight and the IR Illuminator, reticle inversion) can be performed with the help of the included remote control.

The Digisight also features a jack performing two functions – Video Out (to conduct video recording to external devices without the use of additional adapters and camera or camcorders) and Video In (can be used to display on the Digisight ’s screen information transmitted from remote cameras via radio channel).

The Digisight N550 is resistant to bright light exposure and features excellent operational characteristics. The Digisight can be mounted on a wide range of hunting weapons including those of large calibers (shock resistance is guaranteed if cartridges with muzzle velocity not exceeding 6000 Joules are used).

The Digisight operates on four rechargeable batteries but can also be powered with an external power supply. Digisight N550 is designed for hunting, sports shooting, night video recording, general observation.

DIGITAL NIGHT VISION, RANGER PRO 5X42

The Ranger Pro 5x42 is a vivid example of successful application of digital technologies in observation optics. Currently this is the ultimate night vision digital device. The Ranger Pro features impressive 5-power magnification and large viewing range – up to 600 metres. This is due to a highly sensitive CCD array and new Sum Light tm software technology employed in the Ranger Pro device.

The Ranger Pro 5x42 can surely compete with the Gen.2 in image sharpness and brightness. The image transmitted to the monochrome LCD display is crisp and sharp on the entire field of view. The device is able to capture effectively the light flux of a wide wave range in conditions of natural night illumination. To conduct observation on a cloudy moonless night, the adjustable IR illuminator can be used. The wave length amounts to 940nm (remote area of the IR range, invisible to the human eye) – the observer is “invisible” even if the unit is used in the active mode.

The built-in video output allows transferring of the image to a monitor or a TV set which facilitates long-time stationary viewing, and video recording to external recording devices.

VIDEO OUTPUT

The direct built-in video recording output enables image transmission as well as video recording on peripheral equipment (monitor etc.) while carrying out stationary or mobile observations..

SUM LIGHT TECHNOLOGY

SumLight system of light accumulation allows use of the Ranger Pro even at critically low levels of night illumination.

BRIGHTNESS ADJUSTMENT WHEEL

Image produced by the Ranger Pro is shown on the Liquid Crystal Display (LCD). Manual adjustment of LCD brightness is operated with the adjustment wheel.

POWER SUPPLY

The Ranger can operate on external power sources such as vehicle's or stationary power grid (the device is equipped with a special output for that) or independently on AA batteries/accumulators. The device is delivered with a car adapter and variable power switching adapter.

DIGITAL NIGHT VISION, RANGER 5X42

Ranger 5x42 is a fundamentally new night vision device with a number of unique advantageous features that came as a result of modern optical and digital technologies. Being quite different from the Gen.1 devices, Ranger 5x42 can surely compete with the Gen.2 in image sharpness and brightness.

The device’s IR-illuminator operates in the remote field of the IR-range (940nm), invisible by the unaided eye and has a gradual power intensity adjustment function and memorization of a fixed emanation level.

Ranger 5x42 is fully self-contained (powered with six AA batteries) but can also operate on external sources. With the adjustment wheel on the front panel one can choose the suitable brightness level of the display. For image broadcasting to the screen and video recording the device is equipped with a video out. For stationary prolonged observation and video recording it is advisable to mount the device on a standard tripod that uses ¼ inch mounting thread.

IR ILLUMINATOR

The Ranger is equipped with two independent built-in IR illuminators. One of them functions continuously and is designed for observation under ideal night viewing conditions of a 1/4 moon. The other high-powered IR illuminator is intended for observation of distant objects under low light conditions, including total darkness. The IR power of the latter can be smoothly adjusted and the IR light intensity level can be stored.

POWER SUPPLY

The Ranger can operate on external power sources such as vehicle's or stationary power grid (the device is equipped with a special output for that) or independently on AA batteries/accumulators.

OPTICS

The 42mm objective lens is distinguished by improved frequency and contrast characteristics. The objective lens made of high-quality optical glass is fully multicoated.
